Filtration Systems and Treatments

Water filtration systems remove impurities and contaminants from your water supply, providing you with clean and safe drinking water. This is especially important if you have concerns about the quality of your tap water.

Secondly, water treatments can improve the taste and smell of your water, making it more enjoyable to consume. These systems can also help to extend the lifespan of your plumbing fixtures and appliances by reducing the buildup of sediment and other minerals.

Possible Reason Needed:

  • Bacteria
  • Foul taste or odor
  • Pinhole leaks in pipes
  • Blue/green stains
  • Clogging
  • Orange or brown
  • stains
  • Grey or white
  • stains
  • Unhealthy Water
  • Uranium
  • Radon
  • Arsenic

Water Softeners

  • The first and most important reason to use a home water softener is to remove the hard minerals from your water. Hard water builds up on water heaters and decreases their efficiency. It also builds up on aerators.  With soft water, you will no longer need to worry about rising energy bills as you can be assured that your appliances are working well!
  •  You will also benefit from longer-lasting clothing, detergents that work more effectively, and a clean feeling on your skin after a shower or bath.
  • Skin will be less dry and hair less flat.
  • Reduction of white spots.

Iron Filtration Systems

  • Iron filtration systems focus primarily on removing iron from water.
  • If the water you pour from the tap in your home looks rusty or has reddish-brown particles that settle to the bottom, you likely have high levels of iron in your water. The nuisance of high iron concentrate often goes beyond just leaving orange, black, or gray stains on your fixtures and clothing.  It can often leave a metallic smell and taste in your water and promotes the growth of Iron Reducing Bacteria which is extremely troublesome.

Radon Mitigation Systems

  • Water radon mitigation systems can help reduce levels of radon in drinking water by using various techniques such as aeration, and/or granular activated carbon filtration.
  • Benefits of implementing a water radon mitigation system include reducing health risks associated with radon exposure, improving the taste and odor of drinking water, and potentially increasing the value of the property.

UV Water Filtration Systems

  • An ultraviolet water filter, otherwise known as a UV water purifier or a UV water sterilizer, is an effective system for killing bacteria, viruses and other living organisms that are sometimes found in drinking water.

Acid Neutralizers

  • Acid neutralizers (or pH neutralizers) are used to raise the pH of your water. Acidic water will deteriorate copper pipes and eventually cause pin hole leaks. When you have acidic/low pH water, metals like copper and lead from your plumbing system can leach into the water supply in your home. Raising the pH of the acidic water eliminates acidic water’s adverse effects.

Reverse Osmosis Systems

  • Reverse Osmosis is a water purification process that removes contaminants from the water supply, producing ultra-pure water for drinking and cooking. It effectively remediates arsenic, uranium, PFAS, sodium chloride, and many other contaminants.

Well Water Chlorination

  • This is the initial step in treating a well with bacteria. The well and all the plumbing in the house are treated with chlorine, which is left in the well for 24 hours before being pumped out and retested.

Carbon Filters

  • Carbon filters absorb contaminants and impurities from water. This absorption process removes chemicals and physical sediment from the water. Carbon filters are often used for radon removal.
